No Luck Against the Irish

Notre Dame is good. I mean really good. They only shot 72% in the first half opening up a 32-pint lead and won their 25th straight game at home. I mean, it's hard to win when a team is just superior physically in every way, shape or form to our young team who couldn't find a shot against the tough Irish zone D.

Of course we do start 3 freshman (Patton, Landers & Anderson) and 2 JUCO transfers that are only in their 2nd year (Logan & Grafel). Grafel hardly played last year. Starting with the AF game, the Huskies hadn't started three freshmen (Anderson, Landers and Patton) in a game since Jan. 30, 1988.

Hey Jake Anderson! Yeah, you. Please stop shooting 3-pointers. Jake went 0-5 from behind the arc to bring his shooting percentage there down to 13% (3 of 23) for the year. OUCH. Freshman's got a lot to work on. For a guy that averaged 32 ppg in HS, I'm surprised he's taking a while to develop in D-I

Oh and hey GVSU fans, stop voting in my poll!
